1. Needs analysis
Become familiar with the structure and workflow of the company or business segment.
Evaluate the professional and personal qualifications of the key employees who will
be working with the professional.
Define and assess the professional's key assignments.
Determine the qualifications and social skills required by the sought professional
as a result.
2. Concluding the contract
Draw up an offer based on the needs analysis and in doing so, take responsibility for the project and ensure professional activities commence without delay.
Specify other contract details. Initiate the project once the order has been placed/an interim management contract has been signed.
3. Selecting and supplying the professional
Search for the professional best qualified for the assignment and select the most suitable candidate.
Ensure the professional is available.
4. Personal introduction to the chosen professional
Discuss the assignment.
Specify the duration of the assignment.
Clarify other basic conditions and key contractual data.
Obligation of the professional (= sign a service contract with ETM).
5. Commencement of professional activities
On commencing professional activities, find out how the land lies with the client's key employees.
Draw up an action plan and include milestones.
Implement the action plan.
Train those who will eventually fill the executive position on a permanent basis.
6. Ongoing evaluation and after-sales quality audit
As ETM is obliged to ensure its clients receive comprehensive quality management, its services are by no means limited to simply providing a professional. In fact, an ETM counsellor is in constant contact with both the professional and the client throughout the duration of the assignment. The ultimate goal is to ensure objectives are achieved and the assignment is a complete success. If difficulties arise, it is in both of our interests to identify these as early as possible, in order to be able to effectively counteract them, e.g. by amending our objectives, changing the basic parameters, extending powers of attorney, etc.
On completion, both the client and the professional are questioned systematically on how the assignment went (what went well/wrong?), with the aim of learning from constructive criticism and improving ETM's level of service for future assignments.
